Carolina Verdugo, 16, has grown up in two cultures. Born in the U.S., Carolina has lived some years with her mother in Mexico and some years with her aunt and uncle in Longmont. She is holding a photograph of herself as a child with her mother and siblings outside their house in Mexico. She is currently a student at Skyline High School. Her portrait was made in her aunt and uncle's Longmont home, May 22, 2007.
